Christina Hendricks is best known for two things:  portraying the sultry head secretary Joan Harris on AMC’s Mad Men, and housing two small planets under her bra. She also inflamed the loins of the geek community during her two guest apperances on Joss Whedon’s Firefly, playing the smoking hot con artist Saffron. If you’re a heterosexual man and you can watch the scene where she seduces Captain Mal in his quarters without feeling it move a little, you may need to consult a doctor.

Now there is a slight possibility that Hendricks may attempt to pour her voluptuous curves into the star-spangled panties and golden bra of the most iconic female superhero of all-time, Wonder Woman. It seems her Drive director, Nicolas Winding Refn, is attached to a new Wonder Woman film project and would love to see Hendricks play the world’s most famous superheroine. When asked about that possibility, Hendricks responded enthusiastically.

“Sure! I grew up on the TV show, and I had Wonder Woman Underoos, and my brother had a Wonder Woman doll – sorry, Aaron, you’re exposed. [Giggles.] And Nicolas said, when we were on set [of Drive], “I want you to be Wonder Woman.” And I think he is such an extraordinary and exceptional director, that if he asked me to do it, I would do it in a heartbeat…Hopefully the stars would align [for Wonder Woman]. It would be really fun. It would be cool, wouldn’t it? I’d get to kick ass.

I’ll level with all of you here. I didn’t read much past “I had Wonder Woman underoos.” All I can think of now is the 36-year-old Hendricks in tiny star-spangled underoo bottoms and her, ummmm, divine Themysciran “gifts” straining against a too-small red Wonder Woman logo underoos top. I think I need to be alone with Photoshop right now…
