Hey gang! Sorry I haven’t written much here lately, but work’s been pretty hectic and I haven’t been able to get in the ”blogging mood”, if you know what I mean. I also blame Marc for buying some Project Wonderful ads on a little site called my [confined] space. (WARNING!!! DO NOT VISIT THIS SITE UNLESS YOU HAVE SEVERAL HOURS TO KILL!!!)
I’m serious, this site will suck your life away for literally hours at a time. Marc and I had a creative meeting last week and we made the mistake of leaving this site open on the Mac while we tried to come up with strip ideas. Bad idea. We spent about two hours just laughing our heads off at the various oddball photos and wallpapers, and that’s what’s so awesome about the site. It’s simply page after page of weird images and wallpapers. That’s it. Over 500 pages of them! It’s genius. I can’t stop going there. Thanks a lot, Marc.
And speaking of Project Wonderful ads, we are getting quite a few visitors to the site through one of my favorite webcomics Starslip Crisis, a jaunty sci-fi tale about the crew of a spacefaring star warship turned-art museum. I’d like to give a hearty welcome to any and all new readers who discovered Boxcar through Mr. Straub’s site. Hope you enjoy our stuff!
